Easy Ways to Save Mobile Data every month |
Nowadays, we spend a lot of time on our smartphones. We use our data in different types of videos, like playing online video games. That's why our phone data finishes too fast. But don't worry; in this article, I am going to share with you some methods that I personally use, and now I'm sharing with you how you can save mobile data every month. So stay toned and read the article till the end....
Understand where all your data goes
Before you save your mobile data every month, you have to know where all your data goes. If you find out where all the data is, then you can easily save mobile data every month. I am going to share some common problems; if you do the same, then turn off these options...
App running in the background
Lots of applications run in the background, like when you get notifications from any application; that means the application is running in the background. For example, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram are mostly social media apps, so all you can do is go to the settings of that application, which runs in the background....
Then go to battery usage of that application...
As you can see, this app is running in the background, so you can turn off the "Allow foreground activity" option....
Watching too many online videos
Nowadays we see too many videos on TikTok, YouTube video reels, and Facebook video reels. Mostly we spend our time by watching reels. And it consumes too much mobile data. So you have to reduce screen timing on reels.
Playing video games
Lots of people play video games too much, like PUBG, Call of Duty, Free Fire, and some simple games. It also consumes too much data because when we play video games, we not only play for a few minutes, but we play for long times, like 2 to 3 hours. So you have reduced screen time while playing video games.
Use data saver mode on your phone
You can use the data saver mode option if you have limited data. Data saver mode stops all the applications and websites from using extra data. To enable the data saver option, go to your mobile data option.
After clicking the mobile data option, click data usage
Now click the data saving option. It will work automatically in the background application. So use it when you have limited data...
Use your wifi
Nowadays it's a common thing to have wifi in every house. So when you are in your house, you should connect your device to your wifi. Use your wifi whenever it's possible. You can watch movies and videos and play video games with Wi-Fi. But you can't use your wifi outside the house; the wifi has a limited range. But when you are outside your house, you can't use your wifi, so that time you have to use mobile data. That's why you use your wifi when it's possible to use.

Set a maximum video quality
If you set your video quality to high, then it will consume more data. Instead of setting your video quality to HD, you can watch the video in 360p or 480p. So you should change your Facebook and YouTube video settings.
Download content for offline use
When we watch any kind of YouTube video, we listen to the same music again and again. So you can download that music for offline; it will save your mobile data. My suggestion is to download long videos like movies, documentaries, etc. with your wifi. You can also download some offline applications like Google Maps Offline, YouTube Offline, etc.
Use the lite version of the application
We all use social media platform like:-- Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and TikTok. But these files are big, and they consume too much data and also drain our battery. That's why we can't use our phone battery for a long time. So you can use the lite version of the application, like Facebook Lite, Instagram Lite, Messenger Lite, TikTok Lite, etc. These applications are the same; the difference is these are lite versions of that application.
Turn off hotspot sharing
So you share your hotspot, and you look up one thing, and that data transfer is too fast. So when you share your hotspot with others, set a data limit; otherwise, it will take your data fast.
Use messaging instead of calls
Instead of video calls, you can do messages. If it is very important, then you can do an audio call. Video calls consume too much data. So if you have a messaging habit, it will be good for you; you can save a good amount of data.
Track your data usage
Data usage shows that you have used all your data. It shows a chart. Go to your mobile data option...
As you can see in the image, it shows which application you use most; it's on the above and also shows how much data you have used on that specific application.
When you know which application consumes too much data, you have to decrease usage of that specific application.
Uninstall applications that you don't use
We keep old applications on our phone when they're not needed on our phone. Old applications do run in the background and use our data, so delete those applications that you don't use and are not important for you...
Well, at last I will say mobile data is an important matter, and mobile data is valuable; use it in proper ways. So if you follow all the steps that I have shared in this article, you can easily save your mobile data. I've tested these methods, and then I shared them with you...
Thank you for your important time. Share this article with your friends and family members; also let them know about this method.
