You can use Linux for free. It doesn't have paid license or key system about windows. You can use it for free. Linux is basically for developer, programmers. Windows is common operating system. Everybody use windows. You can download linux from internet at any time and use it for free.
2. Which one performance is better Linux or windows ?
Linux outperformed in lots of test beat windows 10, 11 and 8. This became possible because Linux is very easy to use and its very light weight. I am not say windows has a bad operating system. It has also good performance.
3.Security
Another reason for Linux better is for it's security. When you use windows operating system you also have to use an antivirus software. But Linux is made for its transplanting and security. You don't have use an antivirus in Linux operating system. This is a benefit to have open source. Linux is safe in terms of security. If you are a programmer. And you have learned basic Linux commands through computer engineering then it will be easy for you to use Linux. In Linux from where the data coming, how Linux system works, which network is connected all these information. Linux is transparent you will see all the options you just have to technical knowledge about Linux. You will find information in online like:- there are lots of video, articles..... you can gain some knowledge about Linux system.
4. Technical knowledge
If you are Beginner in Linux and don't know how to use Linux then you can use it as windows operating system. It literally similar like windows and Linux has different options.
