What is Google meet?
Google meet developed by google. Its a basically meeting app. You can host or you can join as a guest. This app is made for those who do office work, Teaching online, Doing online courses, Online classes.
Why you should use google meet without installing any application?
Suppose, you are a student and you want to join online classes. So you gonna do is use for for temporary time. If you install the app then it will took extra space in your phone. And lots of students doesn't have a good android phone. They use low- end android phone. So for low-end android user they should use google meet on default browser.....
Requirements to use google meet
To use google meet. You must have a smartphone. A good browser like Chrome, Firefox etc. my suggestion is, you can use chrome browser. I personally use chrome browser. And must have a good internet. Like WiFi or you can use mobile data. To use google meet on browser you must have a Gmail account.
How to use Google meet as a host
Suppose, you are a teacher and you want to host a meeting for your students. Follow the steps:
1. Open your favorite browser like:-( chrome, Firefox,safari)
2. Now on the search bar your can search Google meet manually.
3. Now give your Gmail account and sign in.
4. Now click on new meeting option.
5. After click on meeting option you will see two options one is instant link or you can create meeting for later.
Now share this link with your students. Tell your students a specific time to join on that time. Now you can use meet as a host.
How to join google meet as a guest?
After getting the link, now follow these steps:-
1. Open your favorite browser
2. And search Google meet on the search bar.
3.Now enter a code or joining link which you have got.
4. Click "Tap joining"
5. Allow all type of permission
6. Enter your name
That's how you can join on Google meet........
Some important Tips to improve browser google meet experience
Well, if you are a iPhone user then I suggest you to use safari browser. And for the android user chrome browser is the best browser. Open google meet in browser,turn on desktop mode for better view...... And you should give all the permissions.
Difference between using app and website
Well if you are using app. Then you will get some extra option. For temporary use you can use google meet in browser. But you didn't get some options like:- no blurred background etc. sometimes, it might get slow if you are using browser.when you gonna use app there will be less problem..
Which one you should use app or website?
If you need to use daily then you can use Google meet application . You can download it from playstore. But if you are a temporary user then you can use in browser.....
Pros and cons using google meet in browser
Pros:
1. Its easy to use
2. Better for temporary use
3. Don't need to install application
Cons:
1. Not good for long time use
2. Can't use extra option
3. sound is not good.
